 Dr. Joseph M. Dorsey began his career in St. Louis, Missouri at the VA Hospital in 1970 as a dental intern. The next year he was a staff dentist at the VA Hospital. After this assignment, Dr. Dorsey was an instructor of dentistry at the Washington School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Dorsey completed most of his formal education at Howard University in Washington D.C. (B.S., M.S., D.D.S.). While in St. Louis, Dr. Dorsey entered the residency program for Orthodontics at St. Louis University Department of Orthodontics. He graduated from the program in 1975 with a Master’s Degree in Orthodontics.
Dr. Dorsey belongs to several professional and community organizations such as Normandy Kiwanis, St. Apollonia Guild, Role Model Program for the St. Louis Public School, ADA, NDA, Mound City Dental Society, AAO, and the Midwestern Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Dorsey has practiced orthodontics for 33 years and the plans to continue to practice for the next 10 years. Dr. Dorsey has several publications to his credit. He is married and he has two children. |
